Bed and Breakfast Booking Information

Here is some useful information to assist you in planning your bed and breakfast stay at Hill House, Shotley.

Bookings can be made by telephone or by email through the contact us form on the website. Please contact us by telephone (01473 787318 / mobile: 07887 941921) or by email if you have any queries.

Payment and cancellations

Guests are liable for the whole amount of the booking in the event of a cancellation within 7 days of the arrival date if we are unable to re let the room for the full length of the booking period. In order to cover this cost it is recommended that guests should take out their own travel insurance. Accounts may be settled by online bank transfer (bank details supplied with confirmation of reservation) or by debit card please telephone 01473 787318 / mobile: 07887 941921.

The balance may be paid in cash, cheque, bank transfer or debit or credit card (we do not accept Amex or Diners Club). There is a surcharge for using credit cards but not debit cards.

Arrival and Departure

Check-in is from 4:30pm until 6pm (please ring if you are going to be late as we cannot guarantee entry after 6pm) and check out is by 10.30am on the morning of departure.

We are open from March until the end of October, and sometimes at Christmas and the New Year.

Breakfast

A full English breakfast using locally sourced fresh produce is served from 8 am until 9 am. Lighter options are available.

Smoking is not permitted in Hill House.

Dogs

We regret that we are no longer able to accept dogs.

Children

We do not accept children under the age of 7.

Car Parking

There is plenty of car parking space for visitors' cars.
